The Shunning DVD Blu-ray Release

The Shunning on DVD is now available for pre-order on Amazon.com from Sony Pictures. Tim Holt plays Dylan Bennett, opposite Sherry Stringfield. The Shunning, directed by Michael Landon Jr., is based on the popular novel from best selling author Beverly Lewis. There is currently no information on the Blu-Ray release for the film but will update this post when available.Order the DVD on Amazon.com.
The Shunning Hallmark Schedule

The first showing of the Hallmark channel film “The Shunning” will be on Saturday, April 16th at 9pm EST and 8pm CST. Tim Holt plays Dylan Bennett, opposite Sherry Stringfield. The Shunning, directed by Michael Landon Jr., is based on the popular novel from best selling author Beverly Lewis. The DVD release of the film is due September 2011 by Sony Pictures.
March Acting Update
March 15, 2011
- Tim flew to Washington, D.C. to film an industrial for a national company that coaches medical professionals on public speaking.
- The feature film PULL wrapped principal photography. Tim plays the male lead, Charles. A limited theatrical run is expected at the end of 2011.
- Tim completed a national commercial, photoshoot and industrial, in conjunction with American Le Mans Series racing, for a US manufacturer of automotive oils.
- Pre-production for ROM, the feature film, continued. Tim will reprise the lead role of Daniel.
- Tim continued to audition for major U.S. television shows including the CW’s The Vampire Diaries.
Remnants Production
January 5, 2011
Tim completed filming for the new feature film Remnants with Terminator star Edward Furlong. Tim played the principal role of the DOD Scientist plus additional voice-over for the “Phantom Radio Voice”. Remnants plots nine strangers who find themselves holed up together in a farmhouse cellar in rural Texas, searching for a happy ending in a tale of unimaginable disaster and horror. Remnants, currently in post-production, is due to be released in 2011.

Tim will play Dylan Bennett, opposite Sherry Stringfield, in the feature film The Shunning. An original Hallmark Movie with AFFIRM Films, a division of Sony Pictures, directed by Michael Landon Jr., The Shunning is based on the popular novel from best selling author Beverly Lewis. Principal photography is due to begin next month in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
PULL Feature Film

Tim has been cast as the male lead, Charles, in PULL - a new feature film from the creators of Devil’s Crossing. Three weeks of principal photography begins in December.
Voice-over Projects
September 15, 2010
Tim completed two voice-over projects this month. The first, for a PBS History Channel series in which he voiced two historical British characters, is scheduled to be broadcast at the end of 2010. The second, an industrial for a dental product company, where he described the production and usage techniques for a range of highly successful dental tools.
Artifacts Wraps Production

Production has completed on Artifacts - with Tim Holt as the lead character, Clayton. This dramatic film is now in post-production with an expected release date for September. A trailer for the film will be released shortly.

- ROM won “Best In Show” at The Light Factory in Charlotte last week, beating over 50 films submitted both nationally and internationally. ROM feature development continues with Tim, Director Ben Sliker, and Writer Mattthew Bumby. ROM the short film, will enter the festival circuit after receiving the final edit by Ben. A new website http://www.romthemovie.com has been created.
- Tim booked two voiceover jobs. The first, for a subsidiary of Coca-Cola. The second, for a national Dental appliance company. Tim plans on expanding his voiceover work in the coming months.
- Tim recently signed with the prestigious Artists Resource Agency for the North and South Carolina, Georgia and Southern Virginia markets. Tim is currently seeking representation in the UK.
- Tim has continued to audition for independent films and national TV shows such as Drop Dead Diva and Army Wives.
- Pre-production has begun on “Artifacts” - a new film by Joe Keller, produced by Lovinder Gill - principal photography is set to start in July. Tim will play the lead.
